PBIS Rewards"Marvel Money" is awarded to students who display positive behaviors. Students are encouraged to collect "Marvel Money" for monthly, quarter and/or semester prizes, activities, and celebrations. Recognizing students is important. Each month, two names are drawn for $10.00 cash, one student receives the Student-Of-The-Month parking spot, and one student from each grade level is put on the "Wall of Fame" and receives a treat. We also have a PBIS Store that will be open periodically throughout the year. A celebration party will be held at the end of each semester for students who meet eligibility requirements. Each quarter, a student can be first to lunch for a week if he/she has zero tardies, 0 ODR's, and perfect attendance.
Office Referral Policy & Behavioral Consequences Faculty and staff members will use office referrals to record individual infractions. Infractions are grouped into two categories: minor and major. Minor infractions include situations that occur minimally within the school setting and are managed by the classroom teacher and/or Principal. Major infractions are recorded based on the severity and/or frequency of the incident and are addressed by the Principal. After 3 minor infractions, the action becomes a major infraction and will be handled by the Principal. Major infractions could result in detention, loss of privileges, or suspension. To give all students an opportunity to be successful, the number of office referrals for major infractions are reset at the start of a new semester.
